Kate has a background in commercial art, designing site specific installations for international brands, hotels and museums. 

Renowned for her strategic, creative and practical approach, she delivered compelling  3D visual statements in response to a clients brief.

This unique combination of commercial understanding and planning skills together with highly creative thinking and imagination  all feeds into her sculpture practice too.

 

The lateral thinking and problem solving skills honed in delivering these large scale projects brings forth a love of exploring not only new materials but the also the 'ordinary' or discarded materials and turning them into modern, abstract & tactile sculpture and art with purpose
